It is finally 11/6! Soon we will have a short break from election ads and family arguments!
In light of the Sandicane, the Governor has allowed New York State residents to vote at any polling place. [Correction: only voters in a federal disaster area in NYS can vote elsewhere (by affidavit).] However, “voters who cast their ballots outside their state legislative districts will only be able to vote in the presidential and U.S. Senate races.” There will also be voter shuttles in storm affected areas.
For those New Yorkers who want to vote the full ballot, but have forgotten where to go, or don’t know if their polling place has changed, the Board of Elections website can help!
If you do a search, it will also provide a link to a sample ballot for your district, if you should desire to peruse your choices prior to going to vote!
Polls are open 6am to 9pm. Remember to bring your Assembly District number and Election District number with you to speed up the process.
